NEVADA’S LEGISLATIVE SESSION IS HERE!

Every two years, Nevada’s state lawmakers come together to introduce, vote, and pass legislation that addresses some of our state’s most pressing issues. The legislative session grants us the opportunity to speak face-to-face with our elected officials and bring attention to important bills that will help protect our communities and our environment.
NAVIGATE NV’S 82ND LEGISLATIVE SESSION

Reducing Wildlife-Vehicle Collisions and Improving Habitat Connectivity – AB 112: Establish and fund an account to support the construction, identification, restoration, and protection of wildlife crossings in Nevada, including studies, design, planning, construction, and staff.
Nevada Clean Truck Incentive Program – AB 184: Leverage federal funding to create an incentive program for medium and heavy-duty (MHD) electric vehicles that will focus on deploying clean trucks and buses in Nevada’s disadvantaged communities.
Increase Access to Outdoor Education and Recreation – AB 128: Make an appropriation for the Outdoor Education and Recreation Grant Program.
Defense – Stop Pro-Fossil Fuel Legislation: Rather than seeking legislation, we hope to ensure that any bill that moves through the legislative process does not prolong or encourage the use of fossil fuels in our state.
