LAS VEGAS, NV – Today, President Trump will visit Las Vegas to show support for Governor Lombardo, who is seeking reelection amid a struggling economy, high gas prices, and a cooling labor market. Trump’s hallmark legislation, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA), provides no relief for Nevadans struggling with economic uncertainty, as it made dramatic cuts to Medicaid, Medicare, and SNAP to give significant tax breaks to the wealthy. Governor Lombardo has supported the cuts despite Nevadans experiencing economic hardship under his watch.

“The Lombardo-Trump economy is built for the wealthy few, not hardworking Nevadans who keep our state running. Trump’s toy soldier, Governor Lombardo, has stood by while he has waged a costly war in the Middle East, illegally taxed Nevadans through tariffs, and refused to negotiate a deal to lower health insurance costs. These actions have raised gasoline prices and created economic hardship for consumers and small businesses. Rigging the economy in favor of wealthy donors and corporations is the playbook Trump and Lombardo have been following for years. Nevadans know they are on the losing end of this reckless mismanagement at the federal and state levels. It’s time for our leaders to be responsive to the needs of the constituents they claim to serve. No more foreign wars, illegal taxes, or policies that increase healthcare costs.
